Owner, Managing Partner Sales and Operations
As co-owner of G&M, Mike Benson brings over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. He started as a Stucco plasterer and was a member of the Plasterers Union before moving into Project Management for several large construction companies over the last 15 years. Mike owned his own small business before joining with his partner at G&M.
His greatest asset is his passion for helping customers understand their home and how to turn their dreams into a reality. He shares in his customer’s excitement as they see their vision come to life.
Mike also brings that intensity to his passion for fitness and competes in triathlons when not working. He has two grown children and resides in Lansdale with his wife of 30 years.

What started as a passion for building tree houses, skateboard ramps and watching “This Old House” has developed into a 24 year career. Eugene (Gene) Davis has been honing his skills as a master carpenter and general contractor during those 24 years, and is now proficient in all aspects of the trades whether inside or outside of your home. Gene brings a wild imagination coupled with intense passion which has enabled him to artistically and creatively execute projects bringing your dreams to life. He successfully leads his team in the execution of your vision.
As the father of two children, three cats, and seven chickens there’s never a dull moment on his little homestead in Chalfont Pa. Community, faith, family and friendships are some of the things he holds dear. He is very active in his local church community at Calvary of Souderton. He loves fostering a sense of community and often hosts small gatherings on his property. Gene truly believes in the motto “Fully known and fully loved”.

A recent addition to the team, Ellen Zohil serves as Office Coordinator. A newly retired Technical/Marketing Writer for over 35 years, fostering communication and understanding has always been her goal. Any questions about your project, she will do her best to get you the information you need.
Ellen loves to spend time floating in her pool with a book in hand. She looks forward to traveling and maybe writing that novel she has always talked about. Ellen resides in Perkasie with her son, dog and cat.

At 42, Jay’s built a life around understanding how things work and making them better. From a young age, he was the kid taking things apart just to see what made them tick—and putting them back together stronger than before. That curiosity grew into a career as a skilled contractor, where his mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset set him apart. Whether it’s plumbing, tile, or electrical work, he approaches every job with focus, craftsmanship, and pride.
Beyond the job site, he’s a dedicated father to his young daughter, who inspires him to keep building a stable, meaningful future. He brings the same patience and care to parenting as he does to his work, leading by example through hard work and integrity.

Chris Ricciardi brings over 25 years of landscaping, hardscaping and tree care experience to the team. With 10 of those years in a team lead management role. He is excited to join G&M working for his friends and mentors, Mike and Gene. Chris’s dream is to create beauty inside and outside your home. He hopes to expand the landscaping service G&M provides.
Chris has a 5 year old son and wife who he excitedly thanks the Lord for each and every morning when he puts his feet firmly on the ground. He is also a member of Calvary Church of Souderton and is really excited to make your visions for your home a reality.
